The applicants filed their petition (WP No. 1965) in August last year. The petitioner Sheikh Riaz-ul-Haque Advocate argued in the court of Justice Muhammad Azam Khan Afridi that they served the organization for more than ten years as regular employees and have always worked with the dedication and honesty and to the satisfaction of their seniors.
So PTV authority must regularize their services from the date of their respective initial appointments with all back benefits including arrears of pay and seniority.
Its written verdict was issued dated February 3, 2012 from the court of Justice Muhammad Azam Khan Afridi. The verdict was highly praised by the rest of PTV Kashmir Cell Employees and termed it as the victory of justice.
